Charlottesville Newborn Photographer | Baby Jude | When Images Become Heirlooms
I loved being able to pack up my studio to travel to sweet Jude's newborn session with his parents and his beautiful big sister. Jude slept like a champ throughout all of the posing on my poser, and we just took one short feeding break between the images of just him and the images of the family. He was so easy and had the best rolls, so I just loved all of the images of him on the poser. But one of my absolute favorite images from the entire session was not just about Jude's unbearable preciousness, but also about creating an heirloom image that the family will treasure forever.
Jude's paternal grandfather had passed away the year before he was born, so Jude's sweet grandmother made a precious little bear out of one of her late husband's shirts. When I was asked if there was any way I could incorporate the bear into an image, I told them ABSOLUTELY. Opportunities to create meaningful images that my clients will truly cherish for a lifetime are the reason I do what I do! When I started photographing Jude with the bear - the last image of what had already been an amazing and heart-filling session - we all began to tear up.
You guys, I never take for granted the fact that my clients trust me to create these images for them. This session just filled my heart up. I know I say this all the time, but I truly have the best job.
