Sweet Ellie - An Older Newborn | Charlottesville Newborn Photographer

When scheduling a newborn session, I suggest to my clients that we aim for me to photograph their precious baby between 5 and 15 days old. However, sometimes that simply is not possible. Some babies have to spend time in the NICU before coming home, and sometimes family emergencies come up that force us to reschedule a session. Sometimes parents simply forget to schedule their newborn session because it is *a lot* of work trying to grow a baby and then adjust to having a newborn at home. And sometimes parents end up waiting to reach out about sessions because they don't realize how important those priceless photos will be to them until they have seen firsthand how quickly their precious baby is growing and changing. Whatever the reason, I encourage parents to contact me and reach out about a session, regardless of their sweet baby's age. It may take some prep, time, and patience, but we can absolutely create some stunning images of your sweet bundle!

I am so, so, so thankful that precious Ellie's mom contacted me about newborn images for her sweet one-month-old. I squeezed them into my schedule just three days later and sent them my newborn session prep guide immediately. They followed my guide perfectly, and Ellie fell asleep just minutes after I arrived and did not wake up until I was packing my things up to leave!

Enjoy looking through some more of my favorites from Ellie's newborn session, and don't hesitate to contact me about scheduling a session to get gorgeous images of your precious newborn, whether you are still pregnant or your baby has already arrived! You will treasure these photos for the rest of your life!
