Sweet Emery | Charlottesville Newborn Photographer
It was such a joy to photograph sweet 7-day-old Emery! She was such a perfect little doll. And let me tell you - this girl liked being wrapped up!
Once we got her into a deep enough sleep, we were also able to get some unwrapped images, but she made me work for it. ;-)
Emery's big brother, 2-year-old Carter, was full of energy and love for his sister and some more ENERGY! He was so fun to photograph, as well! One of the many things I love about doing studio-style newborn photography in clients' homes is that it is so much easier on older siblings who are comfortable in their own home, free to play with their own toys in between wraps and poses instead of waiting around while I settle and wrap the baby.
And of course of love the images with Emery's sweet parents and her, as well! You could just feel the love and joy in the room. This was definitely one of those sessions where, rather than being worn out from a three hour session plus prep time, I was energized and my heart was full from being around this wonderful family!
As a bonus, Emery's sweet grandmother was in town from Indiana to help out, so I jumped at the opportunity to get some images of three generations of strong women. :-)
What a treat sweet Emery and her family were for me to photograph! I look forward to getting to photograph them more in the future as Emery and Carter continue to grow!
